Meta sorts every business message into a category, and the category sets the price. Pinnaki uses the same names.

02Templates

A template opens the chat. The reply keeps it open.

Templates are how you reach people first. When someone answers, you have 24 hours to talk freely, and the whole team can join in.

Write templates with an image, video or document header, variables, a footer and buttons, in the languages you need. Meta approves each one before it can be sent.

A quick-reply button can start a flow, so the answer to “Shop the offer” is ready before anyone on the team sees it.

04Getting connected

From a Meta account to your first send.

Connecting uses Meta’s own sign-up, inside Pinnaki’s connect wizard.

Step 1: Have a Meta Business account
If you don’t have one yet, you can create it during the sign-up.
Step 2: Open the connect wizard
Pinnaki opens Meta’s embedded sign-up. Choose or create your WhatsApp Business Account and add the number.
Step 3: Verify the number
Meta sends a code to the number. Once it is verified, the number appears in Pinnaki with its WhatsApp Business Account.
Step 4: Submit your templates
Write the templates you need and submit them for Meta’s approval.
Step 5: Import contacts and send
Upload a CSV or build an audience from your contacts, then launch your first campaign.

What people ask before they connect a WhatsApp number.

What is the 24-hour window?

After a customer messages you, you can reply freely for 24 hours. Outside that window, WhatsApp only lets a business start a conversation with an approved template. Pinnaki shows the time left on every chat.

Who approves my templates?

Meta. You write the template in Pinnaki and submit it, Meta reviews it, and the template list shows its status. You can send it once it is approved.

How do I get the verified badge?

Meta decides who gets a verified badge on WhatsApp, under Meta’s own rules. Pinnaki doesn’t sell or speed up verification.

How do opt-outs work?

Each workspace sets its own opt-out and opt-in keywords. Anyone who sends an opt-out keyword, or turns off marketing messages in WhatsApp, is left out of later campaigns and listed as skipped.

Can I message WhatsApp groups?

Yes, on the Professional, Enterprise and Unlimited plans, with WhatsApp numbers that Meta allows to use groups (Official Business Account). Chat with groups of up to 8 customers from Live Chat, and send them approved text or media templates as a campaign. A group message is charged from your wallet once for every group member when it is sent, also for members WhatsApp does not deliver to.

Do I need my own Meta account?

Yes: a Meta Business account and a WhatsApp Business Account. The connect wizard in Pinnaki opens Meta’s sign-up, where you create or choose both and add your number.
