Field notes

How it fits together, worked through.

Four examples, set up step by step with features that exist in Pinnaki today. They are illustrations: we will publish customer stories when customers agree to them.

Every name, number and conversation on this page is an example.

01A D2C store

Recovering carts from a Shopify store.

A small home-goods store connects Shopify and lets a reminder sequence follow up on the checkouts people leave.

  1. Step 1: Connect the store

Shopify starts sending checkouts and orders to Pinnaki.
  2. Step 2: Approve one template

The customer’s name, the items and the checkout link as variables, and a button back to the cart.
  3. Step 3: Keep the default timing

Reminders at 15 minutes, 2 hours and 24 hours, only to shoppers who agreed to marketing.
  4. Step 4: Watch the carts close

An order stops the reminders; the cart shows as recovered when a reminder went out first.

  • Shopify or WooCommerce
  • A WhatsApp number and one approved template
  • Marketing consent at checkout

02A clinic

A neighbourhood clinic sends tomorrow’s patients a reminder with a form, so the counter has less to type in the morning.

  1. Step 1: Build the form

A WhatsApp form with the details the counter usually asks for.
  2. Step 2: Add it to a reminder

A utility template with the time as a variable and a button that opens the form.
  3. Step 3: Schedule it every evening

Import the next day’s list as a CSV and schedule the send for 18:00.
  4. Step 4: Answer the rest

Questions like the one about parking land in the inbox, where saved replies cover the usual ones.

What you need

  • A WhatsApp form and one approved utility template
  • The day’s appointments as a CSV

  2. Step 2: Pick the events

Order placed, accepted, dispatched, ready, cancelled or bill generated: switch on the ones you want.
  3. Step 3: Map a template to each

Name the approved template and point its variables at the order fields, such as the order number and the amount.
  4. Step 4: Reply when guests write back

A request for an invoice or a complaint arrives in the inbox like any other chat.

  2. Step 2: Grow the subscriber list

Everyone who starts the bot becomes a subscriber; the institute shares the bot’s link in class and on its posts.
  3. Step 3: Write the post
